Modern Mechanix dug up an article from a 1959 issue of Mechanix Illustrated magazine detailing predictions. “Radios as small as sugar cubes” may be accurate, but I’m sure they can also play MP3s and surf the web. But the most relevant prediction is that of the ‘Mechanical Maid,’ an amazing little device that’s capable of cleaning the floor with the push of a button. Roomba, anyone?
