Krispy Kreme donuts are fluffy little nuggets of heaven, everyone knows that. You walk in and see hundreds of these little toruses on their journey from a doughy mess to cakey goodness. But do any of us really know what happens in that process? Well you’re lucky I’m here, because you’d be so damn lost without me.

The happy idiots at CoolStuffBeingMade.com, which apparently no longer exists, produced a thrilling, riveting, really flipping corny video detailing the process.

Burger King unleashed a new advertising campaign for the ‘BK Super Seven-Incher,’ a new burger designed to be long and skinny. And, OMG, HAHAHAHAHAH it’s PHALLIC-SHAPED!! Did you really think The King wouldn’t take advantage of this? I mean, fast food companies are ever-increasingly targeting themselves towards the college stoner crowd. So here’s the end result:

It’s no hidden fact that burgers, especially those made by Burger King, are some of the grossest looking edible products on Earth. The thought of this being mixed with sex is really enough to make me want to puke.

But since when are provocative ads new? They’re definitely not…

But why… WHY.. in the hell would you mix hot chicks with fast food? Even Paris Hilton couldn’t make Hardees burgers look sexy… if anything, I was worried that the poor burger would contract chlamydia. Please stop this hot-girls-with-fast-food craze now.. pretty please?

We’ve all seen those fancy pictures on the packaging, or the commercials, or the poster, billboards… Anywhere you see food being advertised, it’s made up to look very nice by people who paid very well. These food “make-up” artists do such a good job that you really just get unrealistic expectations of the food you’re about to eat. A German website, Pundo 3000, conducted a survey of over a hundred food products to compare the pictures used in advertising to the, well, actual product.

A loose translation of the website says this: “All products were purchased, the packaging photographed and the contents prepared and photographed too. All products were then eaten up,” and “The purpose of the project is not to discredit any brands or products but to critically compare the packaging advertising with the inside contents.”
